Adding Passwords to the Lock Box Lock Box (password bank) The Lock Box is a password
repository for people with multiple passwords on the go. The user can
capture the entire logon keystroke sequence and have the Lock
Box encrypt and store it. Once the user is verified the system
accesses the proper macro and passes it into the application. Many companies have Internet password access requirements and many subscription based web sites are requiring password access as well. The user is at a cross road. How many passwords can I remember! Not many. Many times the user does not get to choose the password; It's assigned electronically. And you say " yet another password to remember." You ask yourself when will it end. The most effective way to breach someone's security is to guess a person's password. Ultimately, security comes down to your mother's name, or your birthday. That's because, in the interest of easy recall, many people resort to easy terms when choosing passwords. But not anymore! Users can create long cryptic passwords and Who Is It! will do the rest. It will manage, encrypt and store the users passwords in its secure lock box and automatically pass the correct password to the program application making the request when they are identified biometrically. The Lock box is so simple to train and use. It is a function of our program that you will use over and over again. Here is how it Works!! |

The user must first "train" the password you want to automate. This is done by opening up the "Lock Box " dialog box shown below. You only have to train a password for a specific application once. The lockbox does the rest. Access to a lock box requires biometric identification Face, Voice or Fingerprint identification Once you're in the Lock Box dialog box, hit the "Add" button. This opens the Store password dialog box. There are two radio buttons. The top button let you type your password, then drag and drop it into the password filed of the password dialog box your are authenticating. All you need to do is check the drag and drop radio button, type the required password, then switch to the application whose password entry dialog box you want to automate and drag the password you just typed into the password filed into the password filed of the application. This tells the WhoIsIt security program to start remembering what you typed into the password dialog box. That's It.
The second radio button instructs the Lock box to capture all you keystrokes. This keystroke sequence can be simple or complex. When the WhoIsIt lock box has finished capturing the keystroke sequence it encrypts the sequence and stored it in the WhoIsIt biometric database. Example:
The first time you see a password dialog box like the ones pictured above requesting that you enter your User Name and the unique password just tell the lockbox to encrypt, store and remember all this information for you. How you ask? Just Hit the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard. This instructs the security program to start recording the password keystrokes you are typing. It couldn't be simpler. When you are finished typing all the log on requirements close the password dialog box and hit the Scroll Lock key on the keyboard again. This instructs the security program to stop recording your password information and to store it for use when you return at a later time. The "Lock Box " dialog box will resurface with the new password listed and Allowing a short description to be entered. The password has now been Stored (in an encrypted form). Once a password entry has been stored in the lock box as described above, the user can pass it to the application by hitting any one of several hotkeys. For example: press the F11 key when positioned in the dialog box that is requesting the password. The WhoIsIt gatekeeper will pop up requesting face, voice or fingerprint identification. If the user passes face voice or fingerprint authentication the lockbox system automatically locates and selects the correct password from the lock box and passes it on to the program making the request.
One your fingerprint has been authenticated as shown above. The Lock box will decrypt the required password sequence and paste the password sequence into the application you are authenticating too. Sample shown below.
Store all your passwords and never have to remember them again. |
