System Requirements Authentication Requirements The protection locks of QVoice's security program are designed to be unlocked with Face, Fingerprint and/or Voice Print technology. Traditional type passwords are supported if required. The biometric security program can operate with typed passwords and encryption keys. This eliminates the need for a sound card, camera or fingerprint scanner. The security program can be configured to use --A typed password as the only access requirement. -- The human voice, face and / or fingerprint ID separately or in combination as the access control requirement. System requirements for Voice Authentication only The 32 bit WhoIsIt security program requires at minimum Windows 95, 8mb of RAM, 5MB of Hard Disk Space and a 16 bit Creative Labs compatible sound card and good quality microphone. Face Recognition The face recognition software engine runs on any 100 Pentium PC connected to a video camera. It turns a PC into a real-time vision security system that automatically detects human presence in video, tracks the head, extracts the face and recognizes it by matching its representation against that stored in a database of pre-enrolled users. All in a fraction of a second and all without subject participation. The face recognition software engine is even capable of recognizing a smile, a frown, a wink or a blink. It is equipped with a liveness protocol which reads the facial expression to verify that the person is live in front of the camera and is not an image or a prerecorded video feed.
