WhoIsIt Desktop Protection Overview WhoIsIt Biometric Security WhoIsIt a new cutting edge Windows security program that use human biometrics as the security key to unlock what you have protected. Why bother with remembering typed passwords, only to have someone guess or figure out what you selected as the perfect password. Now you can Lock down your laptop and desktop computer from nosy people and unauthorized access with a password that you will never forget and no one else will ever guess or figure out, Your Face, Voice or Fingerprint. Biometrics a term used when identifying a person's unique body characteristics such as Face, Voice , Fingerprint, retina scan and even Smell. These are the unique body characteristics that make people different. WhoIsIt Biometric Security use these differences as a means to protect your computer and keep your system secure from intruders. The biometric keys used in WhoIsIt Biometric security are ... face recognition, voice authentication and fingerprint identification. Biometrics can be combined with a pin number and encryption keys to enhance security. Biometric keys are used to unlock your PC's protected parts. If the intruder doesn't match your fingerprint or look and talk just like you, they're just plain out of luck.
Security Shields (Gatekeepers) --- WhoIsIt Biometric Security sits in the background and can be configured to spring into action when Windows is first started for Windows 95, 98,NT, 2000 and XP logon. When a hot key is pressed to automatically start the screen saver, when clicking a program icon requiring biometric authentication before running, when decrypting data or when the screensaver timer is activated. When a user needs to protect the desktop he or she simply presses the program's privacy key. This activates the program's security shield and locks down the desktop, instantly hiding sensitive data from nosy onlookers and starting the Windows screen saver. Unlocking the desktop requires biometric authentication. WhoIsIt Security shields are unique -- WhoIsIt uses graphical gatekeepers to interface with the user to unlock the computer, allow applications to run and open sensitive data. These gatekeeper images cover the computer desktop forming an impenetrable security barrier. Access beyond the graphical security barrier is not allowed without submitting to biometric authentication. Security Shields in Windows 95 and 98XX cannot be over ridden or unlocked by booting the system. Face, Fingerprint and/or Voice authentication will be required to unlock and bypass the security shield (gatekeeper) once it has been activated. Application Protection The biometric security program stops unauthorized users from launching programs such as Windows Explorer, Netscape and Quicken. You tell the security program which application icons your want protected. When someone subsequently clicks on these icons, the software deploys a graphical security shield preventing protected application programs from executing, thereby stopping access by unauthorized users. Authorized users can access protected application programs only after they speak into the microphone to submit to a voiceprint, look into a camera attached to their PC to submit a face print or press or swipe their finger on the fingerprint sensor to submit to fingerprint identification. Windows Configuration Protection for Windows 95,98,SE & ME
Parental Control Locking System Parents can set time limits on game play and Internet use. They can schedule block out periods during homework hours and control the computer's use when away from home. Parents can restrict access to specific programs by scheduling the time of day and length of time the program will be available for use by their children. The parental control security locks will open programs for use and lock them per your schedule automatically. Once the program locks it will require the authorized user's face, fingerprint and /or voice to open. There are no passwords to guess or figure out. If you don't look or talk like Mom or Dad or have the right fingerprint, access is denied. It's that simple. It's the most effective childproof system on the market.
New DES Encryption Technology Encryption/Decryption is one of the best methods of protecting private and sensitive information. A mathematical algorithm is used to change the look and characteristics of the data so it is no longer readable, somewhat like a puzzle. To reassemble the data back into readable form, the encrypted data needs to be decrypted. You will need to use the program's Crypto key to unscramble data that has been encrypted. Without the Crypto Key the user must use his or her Face, Voice or Fingerprint to decrypt the data otherwise the data remains scrambled. WhoIsIt biometric security uses the authorized user's face, voice and / fingerprint as the Crypto key. This feature eliminates one of the common fears most users have, forgetting their encryption key. To protect data you select the directories to be encrypted and place them into data sets (file folders). Data sets can contain one or more directories of various sizes. Each Data set can be assigned a name and a specific user. Sensitive financial and word processing data can be saved into a directory and encrypted. This allows other users access to the word processor but not your .doc files. If you're surfing the web and want to protect your financial data, Quicken, and e-mail from unauthorized access by Java applets, robots and spiders you can accomplish this by encrypting data before going on line.
